Similar names

RetroBar is a Windows taskbar program. It is not RetroBat (an emulation front-end), RetroArch, or any of the bars, pubs and venues called Retro Bar.

Illustrations and screenshots

Taskbar illustrations on this site are drawn with CSS from RetroBar's theme files and use a neutral icon in place of Microsoft's logos. Screenshots labelled “Real screenshot” were taken by our own test scripts on GitHub-hosted Windows machines and show RetroBar and Windows as they really appeared.

Your computer

RetroBar changes how your taskbar looks and works, and it can be closed at any time to get the Windows taskbar back. Still, follow any guide here at your own risk, and keep your own backups.
