Privacy policy
The short version: no accounts and no ads. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help people. The tools work entirely in your browser and send nothing to us.
What we collect
- Nothing you type into the tools. The Settings Builder, Theme Studio, Theme Checker and the other tools run in your browser. What you paste or upload into them stays on your device.
- Visit statistics (Google Analytics). Every page loads Google Analytics 4, which records which pages are viewed, how you arrived (for example from a search engine), your approximate location, and your device and browser type. Google sets cookies for this (
_gaand_ga_*). We use the reports only to improve the site; we do not use advertising features or combine the data with anything else. Google processes the data as described in Google's privacy policy. You can block it with a content blocker or Google's opt-out add-on; the site works the same without it. - No advertising. No ad networks and no social-media widgets.
- Your preferences. Apart from Google Analytics' cookies, the site sets none. It remembers a few choices in your browser's local storage: light or dark mode, the taskbar theme you picked for this site, the last tab you chose in a guide, and your last Settings Builder settings. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. Fonts and the site's own scripts are served from this site; the Google Analytics script comes from Google.
